about

This song was inspired by the massive protest we made when Shell Oil (illegally parked in the Seattle Harbor) was preparing to go to the Artic to drill for oil. It's about all of us doing what we can in the world, to cherish, protect & defend our earth.

lyrics

Our Salish Sea in the Artic Ocean
Is under seige by a giant oil corporation.
No, this war we're fighting
isn't with the Vikings.
And the enemy we're fighting is
really good at hiding.
But there's one thing I know for sure,
that we the people, is not a corporation.
And this war we're fighting
is not with the vikings.
And the enemy we're fighting is
really good at lying.
So now more than ever before
we must find our voices.
Now, more than ever before
we must make new choices.
Because there are lives at stake,
like the Monarch Butterfly.
And the great Gray Whale, and the Bees that
pollinate our food.
So now more than ever before
we must find our voices.
Now, more than ever before
we must make new choices.
